They only cost $49 which is not much, nevertheless my supervisor Hayden said me there is, unfortunately he could not recall its name. I completely start to get feeling that he recalled wrongly. Plz reply

I would like to see all of the pollings places opened for this special election. Cost should be considered when residents will be disenfranchised because they will not be able to get to some of the polling places if all precincts are not opened.

I select option 2; however I realize that it is still $100,000 beyond the amount budgeted for this event. It would be great to stay within the budget and still enable everyone to vote.

I believe that all 143 polls should be open and every registered voter in the District be allowed to cast their vote at their respective precinct. Historically, voter turnout for Special Elections has been low. I believe that reducing the number of poll stations would most likely further reduce the turnout.

I believe we should continue to have this election at all 143 precincts in the city, that is Option 1. As others have said, the infinitesimal $204,000 savings is dwarfed when compared to the $6.5 Billion DC-funded budget, and the low turnout for special elections would likely be reduced even further.
